My new book, SCREAM FOR ME, hits the shelves May 13, 2008!  SCREAM FOR ME is the sequel to DIE FOR ME, which thanks to all of you was a New York Times Bestseller.

SCREAM FOR ME is the story of Special Agent Daniel Vartanian of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.  You first met Daniel in DIE FOR ME.  At the end of that book, Daniel was left with a mystery of his own – the photographs owned by his brother, Simon.  Depicting horrible assaults on women, Daniel has been haunted by these photographs for years and vows to find the victims and give them justice, no matter how long it takes.   See the trailer – and like always, be sure you’re in a place where you won’t bother people with the screaming!

 

SCREAM FOR ME begins with Daniel coming home and going back to his work – investigating homicides.  Little does he know his first case will tie directly to the photos, to his brother Simon, and to ER nurse Alex Fallon, who has also returned to Georgia with a mystery of her own.  Alex was taken away from Dutton, Georgia, at age sixteen – after the rape and murder of her twin sister and the suicide of her mother.  Now, thirteen years later, Alex’s stepsister Bailey has gone missing, leaving Alex to care for a niece she’s never known. 

Alex’s search for her stepsister throws her into the path of Daniel Vartanian, on the trail of a methodical murderer who has targeted the young women of Dutton, a murderer who wants the past revealed.  As Daniel investigates, he finds his own past inextricably intertwined with Alex’s.  As bodies fill the morgue, Daniel and Alex race to reveal the secrets of the past before the murderer kills them all.
